Akshita joined JJ Law Chambers in March 2023 and works in the Immigration Department.

She completed her Bachelor of Laws from Mumbai University, India. She went on to pursue her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and graduated with Merit in 2022.

Akshita is passionate about the intricacies of both, immigration and intellectual property law brining a unique blend of prior experience and skills to assist her seniors at the firm. Prior to moving to the UK, she worked as an Associate at a boutique IP Law firm in Mumbai. Whilst working with JJ Law Chambers, she has had experience in dealing with most of the applications under the Immigration Rules.

Akshita is a Paralegal at JJ Law Chambers and intends to qualify as a Solicitor.

In her spare time, Akshita enjoys reading and photography.
